Proskit Fiber Optic Stripper is a device that helps to strip fiber optic cable quickly and easily.
Fiber optic cable is made up of a long string of glass or plastic fibers that carry light.
When the fibers are stripped, or cut, the strands are cut at an angle and the ends are beveled.
This is done to make it easier to pull the fibers apart.
Fiber optic cable is used in a variety of different applications including home networking, data transmission and video and audio transmission.
Proskit Fiber Optic Stripper has a serrated blade to cut the fiber, a fiber cutting tool to finish the cut and a fiber brush to clean the area.
Fiber optic cable is fragile and requires precision to strip.
This tool is designed to strip a thin layer of plastic from the end of a fiber optic cable.
This will allow for the installation of connectors to the end of the cable.
