Since the clamp is within the block's outside width, it can be used on the base, on the end flat on any side, or on both sides.
During drilling, milling, or grinding operations, an adjustable side screw with a cover in the clamp supports the block and prevents it from tilting.
Two 3/8"-16 tapped holes in the base and one on each side allow attachment to an angle iron, which can later be mounted to a lathe faceplate.
Grooves at the stepped end, right angles to the base, provide a convenient way to hold shouldered studs, round Pins, and other small objects.
The Apex Ultimate V Block and Clamping Set is made of Selected Steel, with fully hardened and ground V Blocks.
Apex products are well-known in the market for their exceptional quality.
Each block has a side hole that makes clamping smoother.
Apex V block and clamping sets improve an operator's ability to keep a workpiece down correctly.
This apex product is manufactured by advanced techniques.
