King self centering true chuck body in high strength alloy cast iron, Robust jaws guides, ample bearing for moving parts. Knob (Wheel Scroll Revolves) & Coupling racks ground for easy movement of chuck. Hardness 170 HB Min.
Scroll plate is made from forged steel and precision machined for longer life. Hardness 28 HRC Min.
Jaws are case hardened with gripping portion hardened to a hardness 54 to 62 HRC and remaining portion 28 HRC Min.
Pinions made from alloy steel. Hardness 38 HRC Min.
Accuracy max. runout error 0.04mm, Material and specifications confirm to ISIS Standard.
